LOST was back in full force tonight. Thats what TV is supposed to be. As always - it was captivating and confusing. Most of all it left you wondering and wanting more. I think these flash forward scenes are more interesting than the flash backs. I cant wait till next week! Way to go ABC!

Today I had a lot of stuff to do and errands to run. I learned some stuff in the process:
Presidential Candidates are turning to the economy to get votes. The federal government is addressing the economy with potential tax rebates. The Federal Reserve Bank is trying to drive the economy with lower interest rates. Wal-mart is taking advantage of the economy to lure shoppers from target by lowering prices. Home sales are tanking, mortgages are foreclosing, and people are taking notice.
THATS why we are doing a financial series called Money Myth's at Crosspoint THIS Sunday. Not only is our nation in trouble - but we are in trouble - precisely because we are consumers. Your personal economy is a BIG deal - and the bible has a LOT to say about it. Jesus talked about money and possession more than anything else - not so we could have more - but because its a heart issue. Whether its about giving or stewarding what we keep, God's economic theories facts outweigh ANYTHING the government or Wal-Mart can come up with.

Here's the bracket for GH Tournament at Evolve. I never met Eric before. Shame the first time I do I will be taking him to Dave's school of Rock on my way to winning an X-Box 360. There's some more smack talk going on too - here, here and here. No doubt some others will chime in. I cant believe Paul played the old card. I smell fear. People who grew up on N'sync and Backstreet boys should be afraid.
My wife suggest a Dance Dance Revolution tournament for the ladies. Maybe that could be the losers bracket!

I am excited about "Evolve" - the Church Planting Leadership conference at Mountain Lake by Churchplanters.com. If you are not going - you suck. Really! Here's the best part of the conference. I think we have our Easter series nailed down. It's going to be EXTREME! Hang on. I can't wait to roll it out. This will be the most fun and could have the biggest impact we've ever had! Im freakin pumped about some of the things we are going to do!
LOST begins at 7:00 this week - not 8. Get here at 6:45. Bring food and we'll eat and watch tv. We just cleaned the carpet so we need to dirty it up again anyway! Im stoked about LOST! (Thanks Nolan!)
If you want to be part of our LOST group - it starts THIS Thursday at my house. Its a 2 hour LOST experience this week so come on over around 7:45 or so. Bring a finger food dish of somekind. Dana and I will supply the drinks and ice. We have a pretty good group so far. If you are coming and havent told me yet - please let me know before thursday. Remember - Jesus came to see and save the LOST - we will seek it at 8:00 and I will be saving it on my DVR. ;-)
