I have been married to the love of my life for 26 years. Words cannot describe how great my wife, Dana, really is. Besides being the hottest woman on the planet she is fun loving, caring, and compassionate. She is an incredible mother and makes quite a sexy grandmother too. I definitely married up and look forward to the next 26 years together.
Dana, I love you more than words can say!
Today's experience at Crosspoint blew me away. First - its dead middle of june. second - we have about 25 people at the beach - third our attendance was really good today - D - we are doing a series with video preaching - and we "borrowed" a band. Plus - well - everything was different today - G we had a TON of guests! - 8 the experience was off the hook.
Other mind dump stuff
My youngest daughter, Jordan, graduates high school this week. Dana and I are VERY proud parents. She graduates with honors in the top 40 in her class I think, has a 3.85GPA, and is a member of the National Honor Society. Last night was her "senior recognition" service. Im not sure what the purpose was. They only recognized the top 10 students and the "student of the year." There was a performance by a band ensemble, a chorus, and then the typical graduation speech - go change the world for the better. It was a snoozer - but my kid was there and so was I! Graduation is this Thursday! Woohoo!
My Daughter Jordan starts college in the fall to be a Nurse. She made the paper today for healing a stuffed bunny rabbit! This article came about from her medical career class she takes at Austin High School. Im very proud of her. Our Stupid Paper requires you to subscribe now so you cant read the article - but here's a couple screen shots my dad grabbed along with the picture. The article starts:
Austin High School student Jordan Anderson helps Child Tech Daycare student Cole Jones apply bandages and splints to his “Ink Bunny” on Wednesday at Parkway Medical Center. Austin’s Medical Care Career III class helped Parkway with the...
Apparently we are addicted to injury. I went today for rehab for my frozen shoulder. When I went out to set my next appointment Dana was scheduling her appointment after coming over from the Ortho Dr. She tore her ACL and pulled her MCL. 3 Weeks of rehab for her - then surgery. I have rehab for a while and then we'll evaluate.
Rehab is NOT fun - and I dont know how it can make you better. I guess technically its called physical therapy. I called it painful torture. Seriously - a small woman made me cry like a 6 year old girl at a horror film! I nearly passed out. Next time Im taking vicodin before I go. How that much pain can make things better is beyond me.
