i haven't fallen off the planet.  Unfortunately I travel with my job and this week there is tons of overtime.  That will help pay for tuition and books for Jordan - but it means not much else is going on.  Sorry for the slow blogging week.  Still looking forward to One Prayer Sunday.

Oil Check

A little verced, some demoral, a hose with a flashlight on the end - and all is well.  My colonoscopy shows that my surgery to reattach my bowl last november is holding well.  No complications.  Nice and healthy.  So all I have left to remind me is the huge scars on my belly and the bills that keep trickling in.  Nice that this is "behind" me.

Today I prep for my Colonoscopy.  This is a follow-up to my bowel section I had last year to make sure all the inner pipes are connected and working.  I love the marketing hype from the manufacturer:

"HalfLytely^® and Bisacodyl Tablets Bowel Prep Kit is available in great- tasting Lemon-Lime, Cherry and Orange flavors."

I take two pills and then I get to drink 1/2 gallon of liquid snot (Cherry Flavored Liquid Snot) which induces a nice watery - well - maybe this video gives you a good idea.

Elephant.  Sometimes we are not even aware of the danger we are in.  There is a spiritual analogy here but I was laughing so hard at what happened I just gave up trying to make it - you can figure it out.

Why Government Hammers cost $700.00

We've probably all seen the reports about government overspending on things like $700.00 hammers, $200.00 toilet seats and the like.  I think I found part of the reason for this.  I work for a Government Contractor and today we had to move some computer equipment into a new server room they built.  Between runs from the storage location to the computer room, which is long and empty right now - my co-worker found a way to have a little fun.  This might explain why stuff costs a little more for the government than it does at home depot.  There is some "overhead" involved in the delivery

More Stuff

• Im done with mexican food in decatur.  there is no good mexican and no good chinese food here. We live in a hole!
• Went to prom "lead out" tonight.  I'll have a separate post about this useless prom tradition. 
• Literally there were more parents and family at the "prom" than couples.  What?
• My baby was STUNNING! 
• Prom is ALL about the dress. 
• My wife cried when we left.
• Still fired up about tomorrow
• I am SO tired - im going to bed - if the prom kids wake me up - i will NOT be happy.
• Im glad Jordan had this big day though - Im so proud of her.  Pictures later

Should iWait?

iWant an iPhone.  In fact I have convinced myself iNeed an iPhone.  But its rumored there will be another one in June with 3G.  There is no 3G in Decatur yet - but its also on the way so they tell me.  It'll be slimmer, sexier, and faster (on 3G) Should iWait?
